Life: South Korean Working/Studying Hours??!!!!

Do you know that South Korea working hours is more than any other countries?? Over there, normally for someone who just join work force, they need to work either from 7:00 or 8:00 a.m till 10:00 p.m (depend on organization). For normal worker they also work for more than 8 hours per day!! It's really different compared to my country. If you asking me to work for more than 8 hours every single day I guess I might die due to fatigue!! LOL

Its seems like they devoted too much on working. I knew its such a good attitudes but this may give bad impact to their health. For
school students, most of them studied for a long hours too! Their school time is different according to their grade. Upper grade will stay longer at school. Basically most of them even unsure about their school standard study hours which is I found out as what???!!!!

For
college or university students, they also work too hard. Their study schedule is unbelievable! Seeing it for the first time I was like @_@!! I am speechless!!! I don't know how they survived and deal with it!

p/s:  Enjoy this video and I hope all of you understand why most of South Koreans says they were busy all the time!

Seasons: Cherry Blossom!!!

Apart from 4 seasons, my most favorite season is Spring. When I told this to my friends, most of them just laugh at me and saying this " Hey! we were living at Malaysia, we have no 4 seasons, we just got sunny and raining seasons. Hahhha! Yes I know and I am aware about that, its not that I live in the cloud! LOL.

However I really like flowers so in my mind spring is my favorite seasons plus I was born on spring seasons!LOL ^^ Last time when I was at Korea, its was my first time ever to see tulips! I was so excited to see it however I felt sad as I miss a chance to see Cherry Blossom which is one of my favorite flowers! ㅠㅠ

Cherry Blossom only bloom within two weeks around April each year. During these two weeks most of Korean will enjoy the very spectacular view of these flowers. For tourist and Korean, Cherry Blossom Festival is one of the most waiting event every year. Even though I still miss the chance to see it for real,ㅠㅠ thanks a lot to all my Korean friends for their effort to snap Cherry Blossom pictures from various place in Korea. You know who you are ^^!! Guideline: Where to find Halal food in South Korea???

These days "Morning calm country" were not only the most advance in technology and system but they also still rich with traditional heritage and culture. As towards globalization, population in this country also increased but with different colors. Every year lots of foreigners come and stay at Korea either for a job or marriage. Intercultural marriage is no more awkward in Korea.

Well don't get it wrong I'm not going to talk about intercultural marriage here as I don't have any experience on that. Hahha!! Maybe in the future?? Who knows?? LOL ^^~~~ Anyway I am talking something that related to multicultural in Korea. Do you know what is the most famous street for international resident or tourist at Seoul???

I knew there are a lot of main attraction at Seoul, but this place is well known and one of MUST visit place for tourist. Last time I'm talking about Insa-dong, center of art but today its a different place and different story. :)  Anyone knows what am I going to talk about??  Ask any resident of Seoul about this main attraction, you will get the answer! LOL!! Hahah, kidding! If you ask around then you will stop reading my blogs ㅠㅠ.

Well ok, lets' go straight with my topic! I am going to talk about Itaewon which is located at Yongsan-gu,Seoul. Itaewon was famous with international goods and cuisine. Since it was the center attraction for tourist, there are many foreign restaurants here including from India, Pakistan, Egypt, Russia, Turkey, Thailand and Mexico. As a Muslim traveler  looking for a halal food is a must!!  When I was at Seoul last time we went to one of the halal restaurant here. The name of the restaurant is Murree Restaurant.  We thought it was Indian restaurant at it says specialty in Indian cuisine but we were surprise to see the menu! This restaurant also provides Korean cuisine and its HALAL!!!

For more information about Halal Restaurant at South Korea, visit these:

p/s: All cuisine we tried was tasty! Will be back soon! 기다리 ^^!! Instead of using my picture I use my two   travel mate's photo, can't use my picture as there is.....Ahh never mind! Hahhah!

Culture: ITEM being carry out by most KOREAN

Try to ask people around you "what is the most important items they carry all day?" I believe you will get the same answer which is wallet, mobile phone, home keys or vehicle keys. That's a normal answer for all of us, even we talk different language and live in different part of the world. However try to ask Korean, especially office workers, what is the item they carry along all day or what is unusual item they place it at their office, you might be so surprised with their answer! Hahhah!! Can you guess what is it???

I give you 10 second to make a wild guess.. Ahhh perhaps I should make competition for this and prepare some gift for my readers?? Hmmm good idea, I will do that in the future :D! 8,9,10.. The answer is TOOTHBRUSH! Some people asking, does it mean  Korean is the most hygienic people on earth??  Hahha! well they are just a normal human being like any others its just, this is one of their attitudes toward hygienic.

This attitude been taught to them since they were in kindergarten.I did ask some of my Korean friends, why they brush every after meal. Some of them told me that research shows that brushing every after meal is the best, its good for teeth and to avoid having bad breath. Yes I agreed on that and all of us aware of that fact but why we can't practice it everyday?! Hahhha ^^ Perhaps since kimchi is a must for every Korean meal, that's one of the reason for them to brush every after meal!

Anyway one of my Korean friend asking me how many times I brush in a day?? Last time I brush only twice which is after wake up and before going to bed. However since I got to know my Ex, I brush every after my meal! LOL, some of my office colleagues just laughing at me!! I just don't care and toward the end some of them also follow my practices, Hahaha!! brush after every meal :P I guess we were stuck in Korean culture!! Anyway its a positive culture so why don't we follow it?!?Hahha!
