Guide line: Which one you prefer?? Plan Trip or Spontaneous Trip??

Through traveling I met my boyfriend and guess what?! We completely have a different style regarding travelling!! However that doesn't mean we can't tolerance to each other well. ㅋㅋㅋ For travelling, both of us don't like to travel via travel agency. We love to travel free and easy however I'm a person who will plan my trip before I travel and he's on the other way round! He love spontaneous trip!ㅋㅋㅋ

Actually during my university period, I love to have a spontaneous trip just like him!!ㅋㅋㅋ Perhaps because that's was when I was wild, young and free!ㅋㅋ Then how come I change into a person who plan well for my trip?! After sit for a while and thinking why I changed, finally I can conclude that was because of my major!ㅋㅋㅋ This doesn't mean I regret taking my major, its good to have a plan in everything but I'm kind of miss my wild, young and free spirit!ㅋㅋㅋ

I wonder if I can ever turn to be a spontaneous trip person again!!ㅋㅋ Since I'm counting hours for my trip, I think I need to change myself ! ㅋㅋㅋ I did plan a little bit about this trip but since this is not a solo trip I need some opinion about it from my trip partner!ㅋㅋ Guess where I'm heading to and with who??! I told my closed friends and family members its back to hometown trip!ㅋㅋㅋ

Most of you might be confused isn't it? I'm living in my hometown so which hometown I'm talking about??! Where else! It's South Korea! ㅋㅋㅋ and whose going to be my trip partner??? Of course my boyfriend!^^ ㅋㅋㅋ. For this time I guess we will not make any reservation for rooms, transportation and etc! We did search little bit about where to take bus and so on, but since he's Korean, and its his playground let's gave him a chance to lead the trip! I will just follow him around! ㅋㅋㅋ

p/s: Honestly I'm little bit worry with this trip, especially after the ferry tragedy ㅠㅠ however we will let our love one know about this and I have to inform my embassy about this, hope nothing bad happen, its just for precaution. Please pray for us. ^^ We had some quarrel before, regarding this trip and after some advice from my Korean friends and close friends I guess it's time to tolerate well with him.^^ Giving him a chance to lead our trip and at the same time I can enjoy wild, young and free spirit trip again! ㅋㅋㅋ I hope its going to be worthwhile trip and we can create many beautiful memories! ^^ I will be back with stunning photos and topics! Stay tune! ^^

Places: Olympic Park

Anyone knows Jamsil??? For those who ever went to Lotte Park I believe they were familiar with this area. Jamsil also well known as "Korea Beverly Hills" as there is one of the most famous department store located in here. However today I'm not going to talk about shopping mall in Korea because I only experience it once and I'm not really into it. ㅋㅋ

Apart from high standard area, Jamsil also known as a sport center within Seoul. Why I says so? It is because on 1988, Summer Olympic was held here. Due to that, Jamsil sports complex were built and up until now it still hold the title as Korea's largest integrated sports center. However I never had a chance to enter it!ㅠㅠ Should I going there next time for baseball games??ㅋㅋ

Another interesting place to visit in Jamsil is Olympic Park. ^^ I've been here with one of my Korean friend and we enjoy taking lots of pictures here! ^^Seoul Olympic park is said to be one of  World's Five Best Sculpture Parks! While strolling here we saw many unique sculptures even though some of it, we don't get what it was!ㅋㅋ

The landmark for Olympic Park is Peace Gate. This Peace Gate was designed by Kim Chung up and it symbolize the hope for peace. For those who like to challenge their mind you should visit National Flags Plaza! Its in the same area!ㅋㅋ Plus for foreigner who learnt Korean, try to read those flags name! ㅋㅋㅋ

Along way to Olympic Park there are garden too. Flowers lover you should come here during spring or autumn! The flowers were lovely! If only I can pluck it! LOL There are various of roses and few more flowers ( I don't know what was it name!) ㅋㅋ Let's our pictures speak to you!ㅋㅋ For more details about Olympic Park and how to get there please refer here.

p/s: Olympic Park is a nice place to stroll with your love one during weekend or any days! ^^

Unknown: South Korea Ferry Disaster ㅠㅠ

After the tragedy of MH370 (missing airplane), world once again been shocked by the heartbreaking disaster.ㅠㅠ This time there was sunken ferry in South Korea. The ferry was en route from Incheon to Jeju Island. The ill-fated ferry by the name of Sewol (세월) had been in trouble around 8:58 a.m. (kst) on 16 April somewhere near to Jindo, which is about 3 more hours to arrive its final destination.

The ferry delayed departed from Incheon late night of 15 April due to the fog. The total number of the passengers inside the ferry were 476 however until this period only 174 people  had been rescued. 181  person were still missing in this tragedy and its had been said that 121 bodies were found. Most of the trapped passengers are school students of Danwon high school, Ansan, outskirt of Seoul.

The school students were on study trip to Jeju Island for 4 days.ㅠㅠ. The ferry sank approximately 2 hours after it capsizing. Without a proper guideline of evacuation orders from the ferry captain and crews, most of students were trapped inside the ship as they were told not to move even though most of them wearing life jacket!!ㅠㅠ  However the captain and 20 crews were survived which bring a lot of anger, frustration from those family affected.

One of the most heartbreaking story of survivor is a 6 years old girl. She told the doctor that her brother (7 years old) gave her, his life jacket and since its chaotic, no ones knows what happen to them.ㅠㅠ The girl was found by another survivor alone and soaked with water, without thinking twice a school student by the name of Park Ho-Jin grab her hands and bring her to the safest place. Every time when I saw the footage of how she's been save, tears will running out from my eyes!ㅠㅠ

Personally I once ride a ferry in Korea but we just ride it at Hanggang, and during our ferry ride there were also school trip from Daegu. Those kids were adorable and very friendly even though most of them can't speak English well. I can't imagine if something bad like this happen to us..ㅠㅠ For more information about this tragedy you can refer it here.

p/s: Lets' all of us pray for them, even though the hope were slim but its' not over yet! Who knows if we can find any survivors, only God knows. #PrayforSouthKorea

Guesthouse: Busan

It's been about 6 months after my last trip to Korea, but I still get a lot of topics I haven't write here! ㅋㅋㅋ For those who had been to Korea but miss a chance to visit Busan, you gotta come back!! Busan is famous with stunning beaches especially during summer! Summer will hit soon so what are you waiting for?? ㅋㅋㅋ

For today I will NOT writing about those beaches though as I will write it on different entry later, so what am I talking about now? It's a guesthouse! I know that some people who love bag packing will not really make any reservation for accommodation. Well I was like that long time ago when I was in university!ㅋㅋ However since I learnt my major, it change me!! ㅋㅋ These days I become such a planner! Everything ll be in plan..ㅠㅠ

There are many guesthouse around Busan and the rate is not much different from one to another. Compared to motel or hotel, I prefer guesthouse more as in Korea most of guesthouse were provided with washing machine!! No need to bring lots of shirts as you can do your laundry at guesthouse!ㅋㅋㅋ

Back to my topic, while I'm in Busan we (my boyfriend and I) stayed at Terraguesthouse. This guesthouse located at rooftop of Jalgachi Market. The guesthouse were cozy and have a very nice view as well friendly staff! The amenities they provided is good too but I'm not really sure about the laundry service as we just stayed there for one night.

For cats lovers, there is BONUS for you!! At this guesthouse there are cute cats! One of their cats scared me though! ㅋㅋ I thought what was it! As its Halloween, when we stayed there! ㅋㅋ For more information about this guesthouse you may contact them at here

p/s: We haven't take many pictures as we were rushing! Both of us also forgot to take pictures of our rooms when we were there! Funny things is their staff thought my boyfriend were Japanese so they talked to him in Japanese!ㅋㅋㅋ!! :P and best part is my boyfriend confessed to me at this guesthouse! ^^~ You can read about it here.

Every time I saw those beautiful bunch of cherry blossom, I was like astonish and as if my soul were there! ㅋㅋㅋ Imagining strolling under those cherry blossom trees with petals falling down along with my boyfriend!ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I hope someday we will able to do that!!^^*

Places:Korean Palace

South Korea were popular with its spectacular scenery. This four seasons country have many incredible sites that you should put in your bucket list! From mountain, beaches and island as well their heritage, cultural and people. In my past entry I talk a lot about their places and I'm focus more on its nature and modern site, but for this entry lets' treasure their heritage.^^

For those who plan to visit Korea, there is one place that you MUST visit! Actually its not one place, because they have few site and its different from one to another. ㅋㅋㅋ As we know, Korea were ruled by few dynasty long time ago. Different dynasty have its own charms and uniqueness

What places I'm talking about??? ㅋㅋㅋ still clueless?? It's their palace! I've been to Korea twice so far and only on my second visit I went to their palace. ㅋㅋㅋ However due to limited time, I just visit two of Korean Palace. The most and foremost palace known as Gyeongbokgung Palace. The second palace I've been to is Changgyeonggung Palace

These palace were near to each other and we just walk from Gyeongbukgung Palace to Changgyeongung Palace. Gyeongbokgung were the new main palace after one of the King from Joseon Dynasty move it capital from Gaegyeong to Seoul (known as Hanyang). This palace were destroyed by fire during Japanese invasion of 1592 and it was not reconstructed until 1867 by King Gojong. For more details about this palace you can refer it here. At this palace, my friend and I get a chance to see the changing guard event. It was awesome!!

Changgyeonggung is another palace where it was first build by King Sejong, the 4th ruler of Joseon Dynasty. This palace were build for King Taejong and often served as residential quarters for queens and concubines. During Japanese colonial rules, this palace was turn into park that includes a zoo and botanical garden. For more information about this palace you may refer here.

p/s: There are so many stunning places to visit around South Korea, however if you didn't grab a chance to visit their palace then your South Korea trip is incomplete! ㅋㅋㅋ You can see changing guard video here.

Relationship: Whats its like having a foreigner as your LOVER

It's been so long since my last post. Missing me?? ㅋㅋㅋ Well due to MH370, I can't focus for writing new entry,ㅠㅠ sorry for the late posting!ㅠㅠ Lets' go thorough my topic then ^^. Having a relationship with a foreigner is not easy as ABC. There are too many to consider as its complex yet it bring you abundance of joys as well difficulties! People around me always asking me how is your feeling for having a foreigner as your boyfriend?

It's quite tough to give exactly answer as different people experience it in their own way. First of all, man is still a man, NO matter what color skin he had, from where he come from; nothing much different from one to another.

Having an intercultural spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend will give you an opportunity to learn new culture from each other. However within this process you may faced some misunderstanding, and need to tolerance to each other lots of time. In order for me to keep maintain my relationship with my boyfriend is I study a lot about his culture, country and etc.

Some of my friends asking me how I get to know my boyfriend and why I choose someone who live far away from me. About this I'm only able to answer the first part which is we met while travelling. For second part, I have NO idea why I choose to have a long distance boyfriend,ㅋㅋ it's just our feeling towards each other. Even we live miles away, we know our true feeling towards each other, that's most important.^^

Having intercultural relationship also may lead to racism, why I says so? Did both of us became racist?? NO!! I'm not talking about that! ㅋㅋㅋ It's people perception, some call it as curiosity but of course we can differentiate which people were curious and which one were racist.

People with curiosity normally will ask many things including, where did we met? How do we keep our relationship, what about parent and family opinion regarding this and etc. While people that simply showing their prejudice normally will asking us, why you choose him or her? Is there is NO more girls or guys in our own motherland??

Next is, some people think that I have an obsession with Korea because of K-pop and so on. Well I'm not really big fan of their celebrity except Kim Soo Hyun!ㅋㅋㅋ However that doesn't mean I will sneak out to watch him while I'm in Korea! I'm not a saseng fan! ㅋㅋ

Honestly, when I was young, yes I love to watch Korean drama but I never had a dream for having Korean boyfriend!! ㅋㅋ This is because at that time I never thought that one day I will visit South Korea!ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋWhatever it is, I'm grateful and happy to have him as my boyfriend. ^^~

p/s: You may read at some other blogs about how they manage their intercultural love. These were some good example regarding to the topic. My Korean Husband, Dom & Hyo
