It's been few days of 2015 but I don't feel it much ㅋㅋ, due to the flood that been affected my town, we don't celebrate new year this year. Not even my town/state, actually whole Malaysia! We did celebrate it but with prayers from all religions, I guess its a good start for us to pray for a better year of 2015. Despite of new year celebration, people at my town were too busy looking for clean water on 1st January as at that time we already experienced 10 days without having clean water.ㅠㅠ
Thank God, now the condition is getting better, no more flood and we had clean water back! Wee ^^ Looking at calendar "ohh, its already 2 years since my autumn trip to Korea! Time flies so fast! I'm also counting days for flying again! Not to Korea but somewhere else. ^^ Back to my topic, during my 2013 trip, while at Busan I got a chance to visit one of my friend who live in Gimhae. ^^
It was my first time meeting her. We used to chat at Kakaotalk before I went for a trip, a bit nervous actually but lucky me I'm not alone ㅋㅋ, I met her with my Ex. ㅋㅋ. What a warm meeting! ^^ Even though it was our first time, but I felt as if I known her for more than 5 years??? ㅋㅋㅋ She's older than me, so I address her as "eonni" (언니) ㅋㅋ. You can read our stories here.
She brought us to Gimhae Traditional Market or known as Gimhae Jeontong Sijang. Before we arrived there I was like stunt for a while, its like we were at foreign land!ㅋㅋ Along way before we actually reach Gimhae traditional market, we passing by a bunch of international shop! Over there, there are many international restaurant, groceries, and etc. I even saw few words in Indonesian/Malaysian, I was just laughing! ㅋㅋㅋ The feeling was like where I am now?? Indonesia? Malaysia? ㅋㅋ too bad its at night, some places already closed! If not maybe I can practice speaking my language there and make two of them like O-o! ㅋㅋㅋ
After few minutes of walking, we arrived at Gimhae Jeontong Sijang, over there we saw many Korean delicacies! There are so many types of kimchi and other side dishes, they sell it in bulk, I think if people wanna buy they can ask like " can I have this for 1kg?" We snapped some pictures of those delicacies, then 언니 bought us snack, I can't remember the name ㅠㅠ but I guess I tried it earlier when I'm at Gwangju! ^^ Then since its cold 언니 also bought us bong eo bbang! It was our first bong eo bbang during early winter on 2013, also my first time ever taste it! ㅋㅋㅋ Taste good!!
p/s: This traditional market located somewhere in downtown Gimhae city, so for going there need to know how to read Korean or maybe knowing local? If you asked me, I don't know how to give a direction to that traditional market as we go there via her car. ㅋㅋ

Wkslm, Thank you ^^, nice, end of november biasanya dah start early winter so cuaca memang sangat sejuk, last autumn (2013) sy pergi end of october smpai early November, pn dah sejuk, lowest temperature masa tu 3 Celsius. utk pakaian I suggest you to buy one winter coat, nanti dekat sana beli lagi satu kalo rasa winter coat yg beli kat sini x ckup tebal.. sbb quality sana lebih bagus dan lebih murah compare to here.. for winter clothes try tgk sini : http://www.going-places.com.my/winter-wear/women/coats
ReplyDeletenanti kalo sy jmpe harga yg bpatutan lagi sy bgtau, sbb sy pn tgh mncari ni huhu
Noted...tq so much
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome :) harap ianya dapat membantu :) which part of korea you plan to go this November??
ReplyDeleteStill searching on the superb place to visit..any suggestion?? :)
ReplyDeletewell if you asking me whole Korea is very interesting place to visit but that's going to take few weeks or months for you to really explore it! hahah!! Personally I really like Gwangju, some of my Korean friends says its a very dangerous place, but I found out its the most warm/friendly place I've been to in Korea, Gwangju society is more warm than Seoulites or any part of Korea. Hehehe! If you really into seafood, then Busan would be your ideal place! ^^
ReplyDeleteReally?? Will consider it..but why they say its dangerous there?? In term of safety?? :)
ReplyDeleteWell if you read one of important event in Korea or some of their history then you will get an idea, why most of my Seoul friends saying like that, hahha! Maybe you can refer it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwangju_Uprising
ReplyDeletebut this happen during 1980? While I'm there I don't feel insecure at all, I even walk late at night alone, its just that city is more quiet if you compare to Seoul when late at night~ and that province is famous for best Korean cuisine! somehow I always miss everything about Gwangju, when I think about it! ^^
Done read about Gwangju..hehe..you usually visit korea on your own rite?? I'm planning to look into tour package there.
ReplyDelete^^ Yes I went to Korea free and easy, I don't like tour much haha! for me going by myself is more thrill! actually many places there is free, meaning no entrance fees, all you need to calculate is only transportation fees to that places..only that, so personally for me, tour package is just a waste.. anyway how many of you going there??
ReplyDeleteOoo..i see...6 adults n 3 childrens
ReplyDeleteFor adult, is it include old generation? If there is its quite hard to mingle around using public transport as it might make they tired..
ReplyDeleteNope..adult age around 22 to 37 yrs old..i was told its quite difficult n advise not to use public transport with children..i wonder why..i dont think its difficult as their age is between 2 to 8 yrs old..really nervous n at d same time excited to go there..cant wait..hehe: )
ReplyDeleteI guess then should not be a problem to all of you :), for me their public transport (subway) is the most convenient and safe, and during winter there is heater inside it :) and the fare for one destination to another is cheaper, i guess they advise you not to use it because if you have to carry your kids (baby) then you might get bit tired as way to go to their subway, most of is have no lift, or even escalator hehe, just stairs.. but believe me their subway is the best and it can reach to almost every part of Seoul! well buy T-Money for safe your time and fare when you reach at airport. You can check about it here :http://iloveseoul1853.blogspot.com/2013/05/t-money.html I get excited too for your trip! hahah!
ReplyDeleteCant wait to get the t-money..excited to get the cool design..hehe
ReplyDelete:) Hope you can get cool design :P but my design i'm not sure if they still have it or not, perhaps each year there is limited design? huhu Feel free to ask anything/information about Korea to me :)
