Trip 2014 with LOVE: Day 3 Part 1

For the third day, we woke up very early as we agreed to join a tour for seeing sunrise with the others. ^^ We get off to see the sunrise at 5:10 a.m ^^ It was breezing and turn to be cold!ㅠㅠ We walk in the group of 15 people and all of them were Korean, I'm the only foreignerㅋㅋ. However I talked to my room mate and sometimes talked to my boyfriend.ㅋㅋㅋ It takes about 20 minutes walking from guesthouse to the place to see the sunrise. ^^

We didn't hiking Seongsan Ilchoolbong, but we went near to the sea shore where Seongsan Ilchoolbong is the back ground. :) We take some pictures here on our second day! ^^  Seeing sunrise with someone we love is a nice experience! ^^* All of us also try to snap pictures we jump up to the sky with sunrise as the back ground, but we were failed!ㅋㅋㅋ

On the way back to the guesthouse, we stop by at canola field and took pictures ^^ If it was during daylight we have to pay for it!ㅋㅋ Then we heading back to our guesthouse. He prepared for our breakfast ^^ Simple breakfast but isn't he's nice? ^^*ㅋㅋ After we finish our breakfast we went to Udo. From ferry terminal to Udo took around 30 minutes. We arriving at Udo around 10:30 a.m. We decided to cycle around Udo.^^

It was fun but for me quite scary, because this is my first time riding bicycle in the main road.ㅠㅠ Back home I never riding bicycle at the main road and its been so long since my last ride! Yes I rode bike last year in Yeouido but its in park so its totally different! Seeing buses, lorries,cars and motorbikes sharing the same lane with me makes my heart beat fast!ㅋㅋ

I can't finish our cycling throughout the island because I was so scared and I didn't trust myself!ㅠㅠ We fight little bit while cycling!ㅠㅠ However at last we turn back and cycling towards the place we rented it. I felt guilty but I can't imagine if we still ride the bicycle and something happen! More over I saw dogs chasing each other ahead of us!ㅋㅋ I'm very scared of dogs.ㅠㅠ

After we return our bike, we walked to some part in Udo and we finish our Udo trip with a nice coffee, brownie and peanut ice cream. ^^ People says if you go to Udo, peanut ice cream is a MUST! We had it and it was yummy!^^

Trip 2014 with LOVE: Day 2

After a very long journey, less rest here we go again for our second day trip! ^^ We decided to go to Seongsan-ri as we wanna see the sunrise at Seongsan Ilchoolbong and we wanna go to Udo. Before we start our journey we have brunch I guess?? as its too late to call it breakfastㅋㅋ. 

For our brunch we have kimbab. Having a soup refresh our body (I don't know what was it name). The kimbab were nice!  Even though the size of kimbab is too big and its not easy to full all in I kept eating it! ㅋㅋㅋ Yes as it too big so I left some of it here and there ㅋㅋ and bit messy! ^^~~ 

Then we took our bus to Seongsan-ri. From Jeju to Seongsan-ri it took about two hours. We reach at Seongsan around 15:00. We go around looking for a guesthouse but all were fully booked! We were struggling looking for it as its weekend along with public holiday so many Korean visit Jeju.ㅠㅠ

Finally we decided to stay at Dosirak Guesthouse. This guesthouse recently open so not many people knows about it! Lucky us, we had a place to sleep!^^ We put our bag packs and plan to go to Seobjikoji. One of interesting place to visit when you were in Seongsan-ri. 

From our guesthouse we kept walking without any proper guide and all we know is it take about 1 hour from guesthouse to Seobjikoji. We just reading the signboard and kept walking!ㅋㅋ We stop by at a place that looks like Seobjikoji but find out its not!ㅋㅋ He also have NO idea since he never go to Seobjikoji before!ㅋㅋ Then we kept walking until we finally saw the signboard to the place! It was so far, so we just snap pictures from far but it didn't turn out well!ㅠㅠ.

We took another one hour heading off to our guesthouse!A bit tired but hey we were on trip!! It's normal for walking ㅋㅋㅋ. After resting for a while at guesthouse, we decided to sip cup of coffee downstairs. There is cafe downstairs!Wee ^^ It's my first time having coffee for this trip! I choose caramel macchiato! (My favorite) ^^ He had banana smoothie. ^^  

Finish our coffee we had our dinner near to our guesthouse! We had Jeonbog dduk bae gi (전복뚝배기)! It's alive! We also having fish. ^^ Supper yummy! While heading back to guesthouse it was very windy! Owhh so cold!!ㅠㅠ so we rushing back to our guesthouse! Then we sat at living room watching TV with other guests, I didn't know what its all about as there is NO English subtitle!ㅠㅠ People in the guesthouse were unfriendly and we felt very awkward!ㅠㅠ

We went to our rooms and katalk to each other!ㅋㅋ We decided to move to another guesthouse on the next day!Can't stand the awkward feeling!ㅋㅋ Then I met my new mates, she's Korean, a teacher. We talked a lot until I'm completely forgot my boyfriend! ㅋㅋㅋ Pity him! ㅠㅠ

Trip 2014 with LOVE : Day 1

After a long break, I will back into my routine tomorrow! I wish not to but I should praise God for giving me extra break due to my health issue.^ ^  At least I had enough rest before starting contribute again. About a week ago I've been to Korea and travel with my boyfriend to certain part of Korea, without proper guidance and spontaneous trip, it was great!!! ^^

I depart from Kuala Lumpur at 8:30 a.m (it was delayed) supposedly at 8:00 a.m!Inside flight I met new friends. ^^ A Korean girl and a Korean Australian guy, actually he's Korean but he just received Australian citizenship recently. ^^ Along way we talked a lot and they asked what makes me come back to Korea for the third time! ㅋㅋㅋ I am thinking what is the best answer to give to them??!! What else??!It's because my boyfriend is Korean??ㅋㅋ. It was fun! For about 6 hours 20 minutes inside the plane with them feels like nothing! We hear songs together, we having snack together and of course we snap a picture together! ^^

Around 15:35 we touch down. Owh here I am again at Incheon Airport!^^ Once landed I got katalk from my love!ㅋㅋ After finished immigration check in, I text him asking where he is. ㅋㅋ I wait about 3 minutes at arrival hall, then I saw him!! Owh its hard to describe the feeling!!!^^ It's not a dream! We met again after about 6 months??! ^^ Pity him he didn't had his lunch yet as waiting for me ㅠㅠ! If only I knew, I won't had my lunch inside airplane! ㅠㅠ

Then we rushing to Gimpo Airport to take our flight to Jeju at 17:55. He bought snack, tteok (rice cake) as he's starving! Owh I felt guilty.. pity him!ㅠㅠ We took Aseanna Airline to Jeju. The price for the flight tickets are affordable and we got it last minutes ㅋㅋ .We got separate seat though!ㅠㅠ Luckily its just for an hour! A guy sit next to me were very rushing so I had no choice but to move out in hurry!ㅠㅠ

Once we landing its already around 19:00, since we didn't make any reservation for rooms. We sat at airport for a while and he's trying to look for it. Then after we found it we took the bus. We decided to stay around Jeju-si as its too tired to take bus to Seongsan-ri. We had our dinner at small cafe. ^^  He had kimbab and I had tteokbukki and sweet potato squid fried (고구마튀김오징어튀김). It was nice! ^^

Unknown: Short Note

Hey everybody!! I'm back!!
How are you guys doing?? I hope all of you doing great! ^^ Anyway sorry for the late update, I've back home about two days ago but I'm not feeling well so I just rest. Today, I felt better so I decided to write! ^^ However I'm not sure what topic I should write!? ㅋㅋㅋ My body is here but as if my soul still wandering at Seoul?? ㅋㅋ Owh I missed Korea so much! I miss him so much! ㅠㅠ

I think before start writing I should list down the topics first! For my 2013 trip, I haven't finish write about it too!! ㅠㅠ For this couple trip we learnt a lot from it! I will write some guide line for couple traveling soon! ^^ We were happy travelling together and wish to travel together again in the future! ^^

Guide line: Which one you prefer?? Plan Trip or Spontaneous Trip??

Through traveling I met my boyfriend and guess what?! We completely have a different style regarding travelling!! However that doesn't mean we can't tolerance to each other well. ㅋㅋㅋ For travelling, both of us don't like to travel via travel agency. We love to travel free and easy however I'm a person who will plan my trip before I travel and he's on the other way round!He love spontaneous trip!ㅋㅋㅋ

Actually during my university period, I love to have a spontaneous trip just like him!!ㅋㅋㅋ Perhaps because that's was when I was wild, young and free!ㅋㅋ Then how come I change into a person who plan well for my trip?! After sit for a while and thinking why I changed, finally I can conclude that was because of my major!ㅋㅋㅋ This doesn't mean I regret taking my major, its good to have a plan in everything but I'm kind of miss my wild, young and free spirit!ㅋㅋㅋ

I wonder if I can ever turn to be a spontaneous trip person again!!ㅋㅋ Since I'm counting hours for my trip, I think I need to change myself ! ㅋㅋㅋ I did plan a little bit about this trip but since this is not a solo trip I need some opinion about it from my trip partner!ㅋㅋ Guess where I'm heading to and with who??! I told my closed friends and family members its back to hometown trip!ㅋㅋㅋ

Most of you might be confused isn't it? I'm living in my hometown so which hometown I'm talking about??! Where else! It's South Korea! ㅋㅋㅋ and whose going to be my trip partner??? Of course my boyfriend!^^ ㅋㅋㅋ. For this time I guess we will not make any reservation for rooms, transportation and etc! We did search little bit about where to take bus and so on, but since he's Korean, and its his playground let's gave him a chance to lead the trip! I will just follow him around! ㅋㅋㅋ

p/s: Honestly I'm little bit worry with this trip, especially after the ferry tragedy ㅠㅠ however we will let our love one know about this and I have to inform my embassy about this, hope nothing bad happen, its just for precaution. Please pray for us. ^^ We had some quarrel before, regarding this trip and after some advice from my Korean friends and close friends I guess it's time to tolerate well with him.^^ Giving him a chance to lead our trip and at the same time I can enjoy wild, young and free spirit trip again! ㅋㅋㅋ I hope its going to be worthwhile trip and we can create many beautiful memories! ^^ I will be back with stunning photos and topics! Stay tune! ^^

Places: Olympic Park

Anyone knows Jamsil??? For those who ever went to Lotte Park I believe they were familiar with this area. Jamsil also well known as "Korea Beverly Hills" as there is one of the most famous department store located in here. However today I'm not going to talk about shopping mall in Korea because I only experience it once and I'm not really into it. ㅋㅋ

Apart from high standard area, Jamsil also known as a sport center within Seoul. Why I says so? It is because on 1988, Summer Olympic was held here. Due to that, Jamsil sports complex were built and up until now it still hold the title as Korea's largest integrated sports center. However I never had a chance to enter it!ㅠㅠ Should I going there next time for baseball games??ㅋㅋ

Another interesting place to visit in Jamsil is Olympic Park. ^^ I've been here with one of my Korean friend and we enjoy taking lots of pictures here! ^^Seoul Olympic park is said to be one of  World's Five Best Sculpture Parks! While strolling here we saw many unique sculptures even though some of it, we don't get what it was!ㅋㅋ

The landmark for Olympic Park is Peace Gate. This Peace Gate was designed by Kim Chung up and it symbolize the hope for peace. For those who like to challenge their mind you should visit National Flags Plaza! Its in the same area!ㅋㅋ Plus for foreigner who learnt Korean, try to read those flags name! ㅋㅋㅋ 

Along way to Olympic Park there are garden too. Flowers lover you should come here during spring or autumn! The flowers were lovely! If only I can pluck it! LOL There are various of roses and few more flowers ( I don't know what was it name!) ㅋㅋ Let's our pictures speak to you!ㅋㅋ For more details about Olympic Park and how to get there please refer here.

Unknown: South Korea Ferry Disaster ㅠㅠ

After the tragedy of MH370 (missing airplane), world once again been shocked by the heartbreaking disaster.ㅠㅠ This time there was sunken ferry in South Korea. The ferry was en route from Incheon to Jeju Island. The ill-fated ferry by the name of Sewol (세월) had been in trouble around 8:58 a.m. (kst) on 16 April somewhere near to Jindo, which is about 3 more hours to arrive its final destination.

The ferry delayed departed from Incheon late night of 15 April due to the fog. The total number of the passengers inside the ferry were 476 however until this period only 174 people  had been rescued. 181  person were still missing in this tragedy and its had been said that 121 bodies were found. Most of the trapped passengers are school students of Danwon high school, Ansan,outskirt of Seoul.

The school students were on study trip to Jeju Island for 4 days.ㅠㅠ. The ferry sank approximately 2 hours after it capsizing. Without a proper guideline of evacuation orders from the ferry captain and crews, most of students were trapped inside the ship as they were told not to move even though most of them wearing life jacket!!ㅠㅠ  However the captain and 20 crews were survived which bring a lot of anger, frustration from those family affected.

One of the most heartbreaking story of survivor is a 6 years old girl. She told the doctor that her brother (7 years old) gave her, his life jacket and since its chaotic, no ones knows what happen to them.ㅠㅠ The girl was found by another survivor alone and soaked with water, without thinking twice a school student by the name of Park Ho-Jin grab her hands and bring her to the safest place. Every time when I saw the footage of how she's been save, tears will running out from my eyes!ㅠㅠ

Personally I once ride a ferry in Korea but we just ride it at Hanggang, and during our ferry ride there were also school trip from Daegu. Those kids were adorable and very friendly even though most of them can't speak English well. I can't imagine if something bad like this happen to us..ㅠㅠ For more information about this tragedy you can refer it here.
